APPOINTMENT & DEPOSIT POLICY

Please read carefully before booking. These policies are in place to protect both your time and mine and to ensure every tattoo gets the care it deserves.

Deposits

Deposits are a commitment to your tattoo and to Kail.Tattoos.

All deposits are non-refundable and will be applied toward the final cost of your tattoo. Deposits secure your appointment time, not the artwork itself.

For online deposits, a $5 service fee applies. This fee does not go toward your tattoo total.

Deposits apply only to the agreed-upon tattoo. Major changes to design, size, or placement may require rescheduling and may result in a price adjustment.

Consultation & Booking

Artist approval or a consultation is required prior to booking. Appointments booked without approval are subject to cancellation.

Artwork is not provided in advance unless previously agreed upon by your artist.

Your artist reserves the right to deny service at any time, for any reason.

Appointment Attendance

If you need to reschedule, you must contact your artist at least 48 hours prior to your appointment.

  • Rescheduling with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in loss of deposit

  • Each client may reschedule once with proper notice

  • A second reschedule will require a new deposit

 

A no call / no show will result in loss of deposit.

There is a 15-minute grace period. Arriving late may result in cancellation or rescheduling at the artist’s discretion.

If you are 30 minutes late without communication, the appointment will be considered a no call/no show and a 50% fee of the full appointment cost will be charged automatically. This fee is non-refundable.

Time Expectations

You are expected to be available for the entire duration of your scheduled appointment. Please do not make other plans during this time.

If you arrive needing to end your session early and it impacts the ability to complete the tattoo — or if your artist does not consent — the appointment may be canceled and the deposit will not be returned.

Requirements

You must be 18 years or older and bring a valid physical photo ID to your appointment. Accepted forms include:

  • Driver’s license

  • State ID

  • Passport

  • Military ID

Paper IDs, expired IDs, and birth certificates are not accepted. Failure to bring valid ID will result in rescheduling and loss of deposit.

If you book an appointment prior to your 18th birthday and need to reschedule, one complimentary reschedule will be provided within the 90-day booking period.

Certain medications cannot be taken around the time of tattooing. These include, but are not limited to, antibiotics, blood thinners, and acne medications such as Doxycycline or Accutane.

If you arrive to your appointment without properly discontinuing prohibited medications, the appointment will be rescheduled and the deposit forfeited.

Touch-Ups

One complimentary touch-up may be offered at the artist’s discretion.

Touch-ups require a $50 refundable deposit to secure the appointment.

  • One reschedule is allowed with 48 hours’ notice

  • Late cancellations or no call/no shows will result in loss of the deposit​

 

Touch-up appointments follow the same attendance and rescheduling policies as standard tattoo appointments.

If it is determined that proper pre-care or aftercare instructions were not followed, the complimentary touch-up will be waived.

All additional touch-ups are subject to a minimum charge of $150, with pricing adjusted based on size, time, and complexity.
