A true midwest girl, I grew up in the suburbs of Wichita, Kansas where I graduated and attended Pittsburg State University (Go Gorillas!). I earned my degree in graphic communications and pursued a career in creative marketing, specializing in brand development and web design.
After moving to Austin in 2021 and completing six years in the corporate world, I needed a change and was encouraged by my partner to chase my dream of tattooing. I began my apprenticeship at Pride & Joy Tattoo in January '22 and became a full time artist ten months later. Here I discovered my love for American Trad and fineline tattoo styles.
What brought me to the world of tattooing was my love of art and desire to create a safe, clean, and respectful space. I want my booth to be a little sanctuary for people of all genders, sexualities, races, body types, you name it, to just have a little break and feel at home.
Outside of tattooing, I enjoy traveling with my partner, Damini, and our pup, Cigar. I also am a big fan exploring local events, restaurants, and dives.

Kail is an amazing artist, all around. I love the work she's done for me and only want more (especially after looking at her instagram). She uses fine and thicker lines, different styles of shading, and nailed my blackwork, but also does color. Her animal art is really good and her skulls/skeletons are freaking badass!!
Got a tattoo from Kail and it turned out amazing! She provided me with several drawings for a taco tattoo. The tattoo came out clean and the detail was spectacular! I can't wait to work with her again in the near future. Plus the music that was being played was an awesome!
